Work order reject allows administrator users to reject a work order outside of the normal work order lifecycle, allowing a provider to resubmit.
Example of functionality in use
Work order reject functionality allows the user to reject any work orders.
The user will be able to select any work orders by clicking on the select box. The user can also search for any status, date opened, store, contractor, problem type, work order type and work order number to perform an action.
Once rejected, the service provider can resubmit their invoice and this can be re-approved.
Configuration of functionality
This is part of the administrator responsibility. This function can be turned on for any roles. To turn on the function, please consult a vx Suite consultant.
Other Notes
- This function is particularly useful if a work order has gone to Bill Payment Pending or EOL but some aspects of it are not correct, for example it should not have been capitalised, or it has the wrong account code. Rejecting the work order allows for these issues to be fixed.
- On the WO Reject smart table - 'INVOICE PROCESSED' work orders status' are included for all work order types EXCEPT Comprehensive Contract Payment. So the user can reject multiple work orders in the status of 'Invoice Processed'
